German Network of Indexers
There is a brand-new indexers’ website up and running: the site of the Deutsches Netzwerk der Indexer (DNI). Starting with just a few indexing specialists, anyone with an interest in German-related indexing—be it indexers living in German-speaking countries or indexers working in German—can join. The network hopes to get moral support from the various societies of indexers. Also, anybody is welcome to exchange links with DNI. For this and other inquiries, please contact at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This brand new, and most welcome, website is full of useful information. There is an extensive Site Index that quickly gives visitors an extensive overview of the material available here. The Resources (Ressourcen) section includes sections for a bibliography, reviews, style guides, and links. Many of the references are hyperlinked to the original source material. There is also a FAQ (Fragen), Members list (Mitglieder), and the usual contact page.
Hats off to for getting DNI off the ground and to Michael Robertson for the English translation! We will be adding the German Network of Indexers to the i-TORQUE Links page.
